I used to do pharmacology/therapeutic consultations and often did suggest marijuana for nausea and peripheral neuropathies, neurological pain. At that time there was only marinol and that really didn't work well. We told them to grow their own, if they could, not to trust the street stuff, which could be adulterated with all sorts of dangerous stuff.

@samueltyler2 I want to grow my own when I get to my father's house. My mom hates it and has even thrown it away a couple of times because she and her husband are pastors

@karysma they need to recheck the bible. throughout civilization, man has used medicinal herbs to treat all sorts of illnesses. Marijuana has a place in the therapy of nerve pain, which is what you probably have.

@samueltyler2 I get muscle cramps. It'll be hard to change her mind cause she has it installed in her brain that weed is a drug

@samueltyler2 I think the reason they're still undecided about it is because the youth here already abuse it and end up addicted and spend their days doing nothing productive

@karysma that may be true, but legalized medical use is very strictly regulated here. There is a major move to decriminamize all marijuana. That is a totally different subject.

@samueltyler2 I read somewhere that medical marijuana is legal here but I'm not sure how far true it is. I'm going to look into it
