When did something start out badly for you but in the end turned out ok?(both)

Learning to drive. In 1992 I paid for 6 driving lessons, went for the test. Failed. Paid for two more lessons, Failed. Two more paid lessons, finally passed. $300 later.

When my ex and I first moved from the state we were in to several states away. We made good plans but they all fell apart. We didn't have a place to live which was rough. We did eventually find a house and it was great in so many ways for many years.

@curiosi Life is full of Good Times, Bad Times. Good time memories are what keep me going. Plus the fact that I now understand life much better and am more in control of my actions. So I actively make future Good Times memories.

@Gusman I often lose site of that. This question reminded me that it all works out for the best in the end. We were a long time away from having kids when we found this house yet when we did it was perfect for driving to school etc.

@curiosi What I try to portray in my writings on matters such as this is that the bad times do pass. Yes, they may return but while within the good times, make it count. So looking back in our dotage, the good memories outweigh the bad memories. That is all I ask from life.
