A question for fellow introverts:

Can you remember going to a children's party, wanting to join in the fun, but for some reason not being able to?

I've never been the life of the party, but I don't think it's introversion. Mostly I find an out of the way chair and watch. I find human behavior fascinating and have a sort of 'journalistic distance.'

@Mamapolo2016 You sound like an introvert. You ever take the Myers Briggs? If you are interested this site is great....

@SumKindaMunster 😊 Are you recruiting?

@Mamapolo2016 No, not at all. I just know as an introvert, taking this test and learning about myself was VERY helpful to me. I appreciated it, and feel others might find it helpful or useful.

@Mamapolo2016 Interesting. When my parents arranged musical evenings I had to perform and detested being compared to grinning idiots like Liberace, but afterwards rewarded myself by going to the end of our garden and standing in the pitch dark by the river, listening to the music from there!

@alan20 Sounds sublime. Extroverts rarely understand the peace and serenity of being surrounded by nature and being still and just listening.
@SumKindaMunster They say I'm a Campaigner, close to midpoint between Extrovert and Introvert.

I'n not wild about the label. Makes me picture myself on a Lear jet, flying from town to town for the purpose of lying through my teeth.

This capsule description is bang on the mark, though.
It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for – and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing. It doesn’t interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool – for love – for your dreams – for the adventure of being alive.
@Mamapolo2016 Ha ha ha, did you read the profile for an ENFP? Did you find it insightful?

I know I've recommended this to many people and some are like "Eh, whatever" while others are like "Oh my GAWD, it was like they KNEW me or something..."
@SumKindaMunster You're right. "Have we met?"

@Mamapolo2016 God I love that quote. Are you some kind of psycho-analyst in disguise?
Well, in an amateur fashion. Strong emphasis on the 'psycho' and addition of intuitive...psycho-intuitive-analyst. ☺@alan20

@Mamapolo2016 Many might claim it, few achieve it. I'm going to have to watch my step with you!!
