Kauai island...the northern part where there's a nice amount of rain...I could grow so many fruits, veggies, herbs, etc. there, even some spices...and catch some fish on the shores for dinner.

@JustLikeGreta I think the amount of tourists would be the biggest problem (if I had money to live there)...plus a bit isolated and would have to special order things not found on the island. I have heard that trees and other plants grow really quickly because they never go dormant, that would be cool

@cherokeepatti its expensive to live there. Apparently there are less tourists on Kaui...and the big island of Hawaii..
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@JustLikeGreta i know it is expensive, the question was IF

An snow covered island. Or a snowy area with a mile wide moat around it.
JustLikeGreta · F
@VolpeTredici That's interesting. You must like snow.
VolpeTredici · 31-35, M
@JustLikeGreta I love very cold weather, and i don't want to live in a dry place, so snow is kinda mandatory.
I also like the thought of keeping people away from me until i choose to interact with them.

It would be in the U.K. ..somewhere quiet but easy to access. Not far from an unspoilt beach and not far from a forest.
