Why are men here so demanding?

I met an Indian/Pakistani guy on here, he seemed very nice when we first got talking, then had wanted to cam, when I said no, he kept asking, then he started asking me for my phone number, to text me, to voicemail, all sorts of things he didn't accept my answer for, it was like anything I said was unacceptable like I had to do what he said.

I felt quite oppressed, and stopped responding to him because he started to sound abusive, in that classic I'm the victim kind of way that emotionally immature people do. I was never able to explain to him that I was working and couldn't always respond just when he wanted me to!
