Having a hard time cheering up tonight.

I need a distraction from my life, my marriage and my terribly disappointing husband. No, not a sexy distraction because (call me crazy) but infidelity sounds even less appealing when I've recently had my heart broken by someone I truly love. Just anything other than dishes and laundry and cleaning the already clean floor. Even the marijuana isn't helping tonight. It makes my emotions fuzzy around the edges but doesn't take them completely away.

Someone save me from my own thoughs.

Someday soon just go out to a state park, or a creek or someplace in nature and take a walk. I go rock hunting a lot and I love the pleasure I get from it and being in nature

@Deeperminds You know what? That's a really good idea. Sometimes I feel like i live in a fishbowl here at home with the kids. I go to work, then come home and that's it; that's my whole life. I need some space to breathe.

What area do you live? Do you live in the states?

@Deeperminds Los Angeles, CA. Finding nature wont be impossible, but it's definitely less simple lol... maybe I'll go to the beach tonight and just stand there in the cold and let the wind cleanse my mind. It will be freezing but that sounds somehow appealing.

@Angelfire21 yeah that sounds nice! There is some good rock hunting in California. I've never been there though

I like to take day trips or overnight trips by myself. Maybe you should take out one day and go to lake Tahoe or someplace like that

@Deeperminds That's a good idea. I'll have to sell my soul to get time off work at the beginning of the summer, but I think I'm in dire need of some perspective and nothing gives perspective like distance.
