Let me explain. We came across these tanks in several places in Mexico, in Cancun at the Market (water looked dingy) in the exotic Nature Park Xcaret (also in Cancun) water looked clean but it was pricey. And again in the Markets in Puerto Vallarta and curiosity would get the best of us. But we never tried the ones at the Market because the water looked dingy lol
So as we’re walking through the Malecón in Puerto Vallarta we walk past a day spa. And there they were!!! The tanks, the fish and the place was nice and cool and the water looked super clear and clean so my husband and I said ok fuck it let’s give this a shot.
So we walked in set up for the 4 of us, the lady washed our feet and walked us over to the chair and tank. Cleaned our feet again and then we dropped our feet into the tanks.
It was very ticklish at first, then we got used to it and it started to feel like when your legs and feet tingle when they fall asleep.
I was very curious watching my family react to the fish eating away at dead and dry skin lol
When we were done the lady dried our feet and we put on our sandals and went about our day. I have never felt like my feet were softer than the days following that experience lol 😆 and they didn’t smell fishy at all lol 😆
@Subsumedpat probably not after every person But they were filling the tanks in the morning when we got there so at least every day. We got there when they were opening
