@Andrew19EightyFive Yep, about thee blocks west of my house. I live at North avenue and Spaulding street, and I regularly make trips to the Speedway gas station at North avenue and Central Park street, to buy candy because I have a hopeless addiction to sugar. I usually take the same route down the alley, first passing Kimball avenue, then St. Louis street, then Drake street, and finally Central Park. And the car lot that I mentioned is on the corner of the alley at Drake street. I found a rubber ball on the ground, like the kind used to play squash with, and I started bouncing it around and it went over the fence. That's why I climbed over.

@Madelenie As if "north avenue" is that revealing. How many North avenues are there in the US.

@BlueMetalChick I can imagine the smell hit you before you saw it.

I'm so-called 'OCD' and I'd have a problem with picking up a random ball lying around somewhere outside that I don't know where it's been or where it came from. 😁 If I touched it, I'd probably end up washing my hands later (I wash my hands after shaking peoples' hands).

It's hard candy that you suck for a while in your mouth while it melts or dissolves.

I prefer to avoid sugar and if I have milo or hot chocolate, I prefer not to have any sugar with it. I also drink lots of green tea with no sugar.
