Third option, loved for what I am. But that requires finding new people who prefer me which is allot of work.

it is not a matter of being hated or loved. You do what feels right for you, how you feel is more important than what others perceive from you. I am not saying you should behave or do things that are completely seen as wrong by others. But if you do things that make you feel better but others will feel as "mm, I don't like this change, you should do the other way" or "I would prefer if you do the cooking differently" then be your true self, explain others than you need your peace of mind and they should be understanding people.
If not, better be hated than loved than loved and hating yourself.

Hated. If people love a manipulated or carefully crafted portrayal of you, they don't really love you.

I will be true to myself. I do not mind standing alone, I am used to it.

Wow. That’s a hard one. I guess I would rather be hated for being my true self.
Can I ask why you chose what you chose?
Also what does your username mean?

Well there are those who would argue that the self is socially conditioned; it is nothing more than a series of roles we learn to play

but my true authentic self needs to be liked so

Be hated, it's much more fun. :)

be yourself. If everyone looked alike.Someone would find fault.

I’d rather not be hated, if possible. But I have to be authentic. I’d hate myself, otherwise.
