If topless attire for women was allowed in your state.. would you be for or against it.

Personally I think all women should have the choice and I believe in equal rights. if women can't then men shouldn't. plain and simple. Now we also have to consider... some of the people (male and female) will never grow up and would always cause trouble for everyone.

What about the equal rights for those that don't wish to see everyone topless?
@SweetMae That goes for a lot of shirtless men, too.

@SweetMae ...It's not like people are forced to go topless. Besides, your rights stop when they infringe on someone else's. I have the right to practice my religion the way I want to, for example, and I don't have the right to force you to obey my Goddess's words.

@RemovedUsername8862 Seeing some men and women topless would infringe on my rights too!! It goes both ways.

@SweetMae I wouldn't enjoying seeing everybody topless either, but my enjoyment isn't what matters - what matters is the equal application of rights guaranteed in our (the USA's) social contract. I think this is the same as an argument saying that Christians can erect religious iconography on public lands, but no other religion can follow suit. If one faction gets preferential treatment, the system breaks down in some way.

@SweetMae I'm with you on that... but I'm using that to state a point... There are men who go topless but should be wearing a shirt... why is it ok for them and not women... kind of falls into the dammed if we do and dammed if we don't category... I don't have the perfect answer but think it should be a choice rather than a law... and the person making the choice should be respectful of others around them.

@RemovedUsername8862 I agree with you. Just don't allow it.

@altoncolt I think it is best if everyone keeps there shirts on expect for designated areas. Like nude beaches.

@SweetMae If that's what the people want, and if the law is applied equally, than I'm content.
@SweetMae Where I live there have been a few "experiments" with statutes allowing public nudity. It became problematic on many levels. Starting with the fact that it's never folks with "beach bodies" who want to walk around town nude. 😑

@bijouxbroussard I can imagine. I don't see that working out well in any area.
