Doesn't it seem so sad that the list of exotic pets one can have is shrinking?

Before one could have lions, tigers, elephants in the private land.
Nowadays every single human-animal contact is vilified.
Why?
I'm asking a serious question.
This world for humans and children especially seems so dull, we are denied the rights to return to the nature, thanks to technocrats and unethical employers.

We're giving things that are irrational and so detract from the good rights. The "expanding circle of care" seems to be like a fungus, depleting what's inside and surviving only on the margins.
@Alyosha I think paradoxically poachers will still kill off animals and the only way to rescue them might be breeding by the private owners.
