I wonder if that was an outing by some church or social group rather than an ordinary service run.

@ArishMell I think this was the official unveiling of the new omnibus for the town. Local dignitaries provided the passengers. The town was a small county seat town in southeast Georgia.

@Repete It was called an "omnibus." The small town was obviously proud of it on its maiden voyage.
