I find simple joy in unique bugs… not so much about this one. What makes him extra special (sincerely asking)

@BigAssLeech love! TY for sharing. I’m guessing it began when you were young.

@Mindful Yes, bugs were my favorite animals as a kid. I grew up in the desert playing with scorpions and spiders, and it drove my mom insane, but I found them so interesting. The more I learned about them, the more interesting they became. And I still feel the same way. There has always been a sense of wonder and amazement when I see a species that I don't typically see, even if they're fairly plain. They're all unique in their own way, and the vast diversity of insects and arachnids is endlessly fascinating to me

@BigAssLeech I believe nature is underrated, so cool to meet someone who gets excited. I’m not as passionate as you, but I have TRIED to photograph unique bugs. If I find my favorite I will post here.
Found it. A garden spider with a most unique zipper like web at my house!

I saw those guys in AZ and SoCal! My son and I rescued one in JTree with only 5 legs, at least for the night anyway. Nature is beautiful. And handsome 😊
