@Stephie Is that Lucerne in the first pic? If so, I walked across that bridge. So beautiful there.

@KiwiBird Thanks for BC!!! 🥳

@sarabee1995 Yes, that is Lucerne and the Pilatus mountain, just South of the city using the steepest cogwheel train going up and that cable car coming down from the 7000' top.
That would have been something for our @KiwiBird to race up that hill as part of her daily CrossFit routine 🫢

@Stephie We do Lucerne in New Zealand and Australia. A fodder crop for ruminants and usually made into hay. I do recall that for optimum quality hay it should be cut at early flowering stage with no more than 10% flowering. This is a memory recall from Lincoln University. I do a hill work on my runs around 5 days a week.

@Stephie So beautiful in your country Stephie ... no sarcasm here, genuinely I fell in love with "Europe" on a trip to Switzerland when I was a teen. My dad works for a Swiss company and he brought us along one year and I was just fascinated with everything. I've been back on my own several times and just love everything about it. :)

"Pilatus mountain"
Isn't there a legend that Pontius Pilate is buried there, hence the name?
