Need to kick some Arse

I've been pretty low recently but realised that no-one is gonna change my life but me.
I used to play a team sport but due to an injury (resulting in surgery) last year before lockdown, I had to give it up. I'm still in my band doing what I love but my ex moved out last week and the loneliness is hitting me hard.
But I've gotta get my arse up out of this funk. So I've booked in a trial at kick boxing next week. Hoping some adrenaline feel good vibes will help.

@Glassysky ha I can see what you're saying. But give yourself 10 years and a ruptured ligament in your knee and all the other shit I've had and see how you feel. You may well feel 60+ 🤣

Keep swinging and you will feel like the champion you are. Doing nothing is not an option

Go for it. I'm in a similar situation in terms of injuries. Tendon issues and then covid.

But I know that getting back in there and training will make it better 💪🏻

@SW-User is there an activity you think your injury could handle?
I've slowly built up the strength in my knee with walking. Day by day it gets better but its not enjoyable for me. But team sports are just too intense so I'm hoping this will be good as I can still be with people but go at my own pace.

@OliveTree walking is always a good start. Your injuries will heal faster. Take it a day at a time. Hope you get better soon
