Christians like to pretend that human are not animals, that we were created special and different...but here's the one question they can NEVER answer:

If humans are not animals, if we do not share a common ancestry with other apes via evolution then why are Chimpanzees our closest genetic relatives and why are we theirs?

I'm sure the slower among you have no idea of the importance of that question but the more clever apes are starting to understand what a huge nail that is in the creation coffin...

So....can anyone answer that for me?

This question is very, very faulted.

If there were no chimpanzees (or bonobos) then our "closest" relative would be the gorilla.

If there were not gorillas then it would be the orangutans.

You can then go through all the primates. Extinguish those, you're then left with colugos and tea shrews.

Then what? Until you're down to the roach perhaps? Where we share about 0.003% DNA?

So are we roaches too? Did we come from roaches?

What your mind is not open enough to see is that just because we share DNA with primates, it doesn't mean we come from primates. How do we know they don't come from us? That would make more sense, honestly, though I doubt that's the case either.

We can have similarities, because we were all created by the same Hands - but that doesn't mean man comes from an animal or even that an animal comes from man.

Wool and silk are both materials, but one is not the origin of the other.

Diamonds and rubies are both gemstones - but again, one does not make the other.

Also, haha this is a really old argument that no one ever usually solves. There will always be pro-evolution and anti-evolution people. To live on earth you (just as I) must accept that.

Though, I admit, people can change their beliefs. I used to be haha pro-evolution when I was more systematically-brainwashed.

And the picture of the baby and the primate in the same position, just disproves evolution to me. It shows the common fabric that God used to create all.

It does all make me mentally address the arrogance of those who are more systemized. I wonder why this is the case. Is it simply the usual occasion of those who are feeling insecure exude the arrogance - or is there something deeper? Pure evil, perhaps, beneath with its arrogance re spite against God.

I'll figure that out eventually. In the meantime, please understand I am in no way, shape, or form calling YOU evil. Just that underlying arrogance that always seems to come with items like this.

Best day to you and thank you for the great pic. I think it shall always be a mental reminder to me of the commonality.

@Magicianzini You certainly have the right to your own beliefs, but you don't have the right to your own facts and evidence.

I won't be 'debating' on my beliefs.

@Magicianzini I'll check back tomorrow 😀

@Magicianzini incidentally...

it doesn't mean we come from

Do you understand that a species doesn't 'come from' another species? One species doesn't turn into a different species 😀

All species have a history of commpn ancestry - all life is linked

Just checking - it'll save us time 👍🏻
Only the USA has this huge debate.

Quit pretending evolution is a huge problem in Christian circles generally.

Doesn’t contradict my beliefs.
@Magicianzini

Speciation can happen rapidly yes. Species being the lowest (and largely arbitrary) taxonomic classification. What's your point?
@Pikachu I wasn't speaking about speciation per se, though interesting note you bring it up. As for my point, it was in what I wrote. It was probably TLDR - which I completely understand. I generally do not either.
@Magicianzini

It's not that interesting, you're the one who said species in your the post to which mine responded.

But i guess thanks for admitting you couldn't be bothered to read the long reply a made to you long response 🙄

This post shows you don't understand neither Genetics nor Religion.
Thus sounds like something a teenager would say thinking he's being deep.
Or it's just bait.
