Not proven. Impossible to prove
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Mmiker difficult to prove what?
Mmiker · 46-50, M
@samueltyler2 the age of the graffiti.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Mmiker do you not believe in carbon dating?
Mmiker · 46-50, M
@samueltyler2 not to their standards or measures.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Mmiker what does that mean? Do you not believe in science? How old do you believe the world is?
Mmiker · 46-50, M
@samueltyler2 I do not believe the millions and millions of years. I don’t believe in science to any of that extent.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Mmiker so be honest, you are a science denier!
Mmiker · 46-50, M
@samueltyler2 I certainly believe in science. I love it. I think it’s just amazing. However, not to the extent they say. Only what fits with my beliefs and understanding.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Mmiker True science avoids individual's beliefs or biases! That is how science works. Carbon dating is a universally accepted standard of dating! If you look at the drawings, you also see depictions of animals that became extinct thousands of years ago, further proof they are from that age.

@samueltyler2 I can appreciate how you explain. I still have to disagree. The mere fact that animals are dated goes to the same point as unproven.
In other words, if you have proof that those animals were 60,000 years old, then you can say the graffiti is 51,000. But what’s the proof on the animals?

@Mmiker If you do not believe in the scientific method, I will never be able to convince you. Do you know, for example, that minerals, etc., found at the top of Mt Everest, the highest peak in the world, closely resemble those in the bottom of the oceans?
Mmiker · 46-50, M
@samueltyler2 that I can believe.
Mmiker · 46-50, M
I very much appreciate a respectful dialogue so thank you for that too. @samueltyler2
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Mmiker You are very welcome. I was actually in caves in S Spain and saw the drawings there. They were amazing.
Mmiker · 46-50, M
@samueltyler2 t they’re no doubt very very old and super cool to see
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Mmiker they do not allow photos inside.
Mmiker · 46-50, M
@samueltyler2 what do you mean to day?
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Mmiker in the caves, you can not even bring in a camera.
Mmiker · 46-50, M
@samueltyler2 I understand that. Still amazing to see
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Mmiker they were.
