Those of y'all who reject evolution (religious folks, mostly) can you explain briefly your understanding of what evolution is and how it works?

You know that the body of scientific research says you're wrong so i'm curious what understanding you have of the Theory of Evolution and how that understanding allows you to reject the scientific consensus.
