We can't people just be happy and single?

It's the movies that create moment's that are not possible in life. It's the books that make romance a fantasy to long for. It's family friends and society that makes you feel ashamed of having so many failed relationship. Even at times your mind and body will turn against you wanting something that is clearly toxic and impossible. I decide to make my own fun but yes I feel lonely. I wish I didn't

It's an excellent point. Unrealistic expectations exist in a lot of areas. Either through friends and family or media. I personally think feeling lonely is a choice that's driven by those expectations. I'd say that just by acknowledging those expectations exist, and are coming from outside sources, means you're on the right path. 👍
