I Believe In the Origin of Species and Evolution

I don't think "believe" is the right word as that implies some sort of borderline theological or philosophical faith credo. I trust in the ability of modern science to explain the natural world as best as humans know how to presently. Within that, the theory of evolution by means of natural selection is the theory that unites the facts of biology the best. I trust its power to explain biological phenomena. Also, I have read The Origin of Species (twice). I have heard unfortunately that is uncommon amongst those of us with scientific academic and/or personal inclination.
