I did well at Go Ape

Didn't back down once (partly because the queue of people waiting to get up into the trees made it impossible) . . kept up with my family most of the way . . and didn't have to be rescued like I did last year from the climbing wall 😊

Later we went to the beach. My wife and I had a final ice cream of the year while we watched the girls burning off a load more energy jumping in and out of the water . . good job somebody remembered to bring a change of clothes 👍

Girls were in bed and fast asleep by 9.00pm. We had a hot bath, a little wine, and some jazz on the radio.

A good day 🙂

I've been wanting to do GoApe for years now but Covid kinda knocked my health out. I'd probably have to be rescued within a few minutes ! Do you have any pictures?

@Mardrae Sorry to hear that.

No pictures in the trees. The girls avoid social media and I was gripping for dear life to anything that came to hand!

@SunshineGirl is it hard? I just want to ride the zip line, forget the rest.

@Mardrae The zip wire was fun! Most of it is just rope bridges between trees, which are a bit scary when the little kids start bouncing up and down on them. You can do climbing and abseiling if you want. Our girls climbed the highest tree in the forest.
