Do you believe in real equality?

I thought I had low self esteem so I pay for dinners when dating, pay my share of weekends away. Etc etc. I thought it was because I felt crappy about myself like I didn't deserve to have stuff bought for me. I just realised its actually because I believe in equality and not because I feel rubbish about myself 😂 I'm such an idiot 😂 - that's just accurate not low self esteem 😂

I always insisted on splitting because otherwise I often felt I would be obligated or made to feel obligated to do things I didn’t want to. For dinner & a show... no I had my own money.

@Mrsbetweenfatandfit it's not feeling obligated. I don't. I let one guy buy me dinner once because he was giant and a biker and I didn't want to argue with him but I didn't feel obliged to do stuff for my food lol and I never saw him again.

It's literally I think why the hell should a man buy a woman stuff. It's not the middle ages. Also I'd feel like I was taking the piss out of the way society works where men feel obligated to pay. I disagree with it on moral grounds.

Women died to get us this far and when we're exploiting that we're shitting on their graves.

That's why I'm like how I am. Not because of feeling obligated because of food but on principle.

And what's more annoying is that I actually thought it was low self because despite all that I bought society BS abou self esteem and female entitlement. We're not entitled. Equal rights for men when going to eat dinner!! 😂

@KaiserSolze lol that’s good that you feel so passionate about representing the work of the women before us. It’s certainly true it can be taken for granted the opportunities we have & the imbalances in the dating world when some feel they swing in females favor. I just know in my experience I felt a date would cost me something if it wasn’t my own money.

@Mrsbetweenfatandfit I thought it was that for a while till I went on the date with the giant scary biker and just said bye and walked off after he paid for dinner. Then I thought I must have low self esteem because people are always going on about it.

But I realised its literally purely morals, principles and respect for past women.
