I received good news, bad news (possible surgery) and i am at peace finally.

@akindheart Excellent! Now you can proceed. Heal. And rest. I am happy for you.

Two doctors appointments in three days, testing and results, a variety of treatment options, research to do plus waiting on other results. Trying to empty my mind and start fresh tomorrow.
PoetryNEmotion · F
@SageWanderer You need a break. Did anything I sent help? You are in a hard place. I have been a caregiver too. It is beyond words.
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
@PoetryNEmotion Yes it did. Not directly but gave me direction. Plus passed it on to friends who are in more of a financial fix. I’ll DM you tomorrow with details, options and what the doctors think.

@SageWanderer Please try to sleep. You are burning out. I wish I could do more.

We're supposed to get an ice storm. I don't have to go anywhere, however, I need a new vent hose for my dryer. My son works second shift, so that always makes me nervous when he has to drive in increment weather.

@BrewCityBarfly I think it is perfectly normal to worry about our children of any age who have to drive anywhere in bad weather. Know that he is safe and capable. You should be so proud of him too. I tend to stay home in bad weather unless I have to work. Packed and headed out soon. I work a new job starting nights tonight in London. I am excited. And happy to be working still at a job where I work alone and get paid well for light work.

@PoetryNEmotion My biggest concern is him driving home at 1am through country roads. Hopefully, they'll have the salt trucks out. Times like this, I'm thankful for a work from home job, although most places are lenient about staying home when the weather is bad. I also realize there are many others where that is not an option.

@BrewCityBarfly All your thoughts are reasonable. Worry changes nothing, friend. I always think my son will be fine. He is a skilled driver. Knows what to do in emergencies. I just think positively. And I always know when trouble is coming. Have a good day!

@WanderingSavage Happy Woden's Day to you as well. I also follow olde gods and goddesses. Blessings.

I just create my own problem. I'm doomed. 🥲
PoetryNEmotion · F
@iamelijah Why? Don' t you love yourself?
iamelijah · 26-30, M
@PoetryNEmotion I hate myself. I am weak and indecisive. I want to change but afraid to break the cycle.

Thinking about how much of a money pit my sons gaming computer is becoming, I just bought a new CPU for it and looks like I screwed it up installing it, I don’t know, it won’t boot now. Looks like I’m dropping it off at the computer store. 😕
