Happy Wednesday SW 🌞 Is anyone doing anything exciting today?

@Stereoguy I hate teaching online. I got into teaching to be with my students and be there in their learning process.

I am also terrified about the start of face-to face learning contributing to the spread of Covid in my community. I will not be visiting my dad now after this starts.

I don’t have an answer. If you and your wife were my neighbors, would I feel comfortable being anywhere near you. No! The classrooms are notorious germ factories. Kids will play with their masks. The buses will be dangerous. Breakfast and lunch at our school will be dangerous.

Colleges and schools that have already started have met with some disasters and spread to the community. I am seriously afraid.

@Fauxmyope2 there are some "best practices," which can make schools safer. You can never be 100% sure of no infection though. The major problem in schools is their fundamental design. Space, HVAC, etc.

@Stereoguy I hope that this year will prove to be safe and great for our students.

@samueltyler2 We will do our very best to make sure that our students are safe. The schools and buses are very challenging environments.

@Fauxmyope2 yes they are. You can keep windows open and fans going when the weather is good, what will happen with the cold weather, no one knows.
