I’m a bit happier today and me and my girlf are going to Alnwick Castle

I think only the gardens are open today, but they are huge and beautiful. The weather is pretty wet and snow is forecast so I’m slightly nervous about the drive, but we’ll take it slowly.
My girlf absolutely adores looking around castles, churches, old stately homes etc, it’s one of her favourite things to do. I love it when she’s happy and enjoying stuff so it’ll be so much fun. It’s where they filmed some Harry Potter scenes, which is something we love to watch together!
We’re staying in a Hotel in a town further up the coast, it’s always a bit nervewracking being together like that, I’m always worried that we’ll run out of things to say - we never do though lol. Happy valentines weekend everyone! 🥰🥰🥰
