I have made myself quite desensitized to this because, the USA does not give enough of a fk about the lives of their citizens.

Just another sunshine day.

Second amendment blah blah blah...馃ぎ

EDIT: Yeah, I still have tears in my eyes. Because I do have a heart and soul.
This is utter madness. This is beyond madness.
I can NOT comprehend this insanity!!!

@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON The PEOPLE of the United States give plenty of effs about the lives of their citizens, and our hearts break when we hear about children being killed.

This particular instance, as far as we know, was about a crazy kid who got hold of a gun and two clips...probably stolen from his father's gun safe.

THREE children slain...right before Christmas. Their parents lives will never be the same.

I know that you really DO care, my friend.
@4meAndyou Yeah, but your policies MUST change. If you can't see it, sorry.

I get irate bc it's happening ALL THE TIME. It's disgraceful. AND IT CAN BE STOPPED> so I get angry bc morons with power and their brains in the arseholes are dong fk all.

I can't even write more bc it's like a crazy catch 22.

@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON In this instance, it happened in a small town high school. In big cities where the citizens can afford to pay higher taxes, they have metal detectors at the doors. The boy who shot all those people would never have made it inside. If it hadn't been a gun, it would have been a knife...or knives...or a homemade bomb.

The Superintendent of Schools for Oxford Michigan admitted that they don't have metal detectors at the doors...and if you lived in Michigan for a while, as I did, the state can't even afford to plow the highways in the winter.
@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON It is a daily occurrence now and on some level, we all are becoming desensitized. I doubt it will ever get better until our species is gone from this planet.
@fernie2 For me specifically the desensitization is necessary because I am an HSP.
I do feel a lot.

@4meAndyou Blaming this tragedy on the lack of metal detectors is ignoring the root of the problem. The root of the problem is that it's too effing easy to get guns in America. Guns, and the second amendment which assists in their proliferation, are the actual problem, whether you admit it or not. "Oh but freedom freedom blah blah, my rights my rights blah blah" -- well, you have the right to live in the worst country on earth for gun violence and mass shootings due to your laws, and you do. Congratulations.

Just an idea though: Maybe go move to some uninhabited island and take your guns and pro-gun laws with you, so that fewer children in America get killed. Let America change its laws to limit access to these weapons so that fewer people die. It's worked in other countries. It could work there. Just an idea.

@SW-User Blaming this tragedy on the GUN ignores the fact that this 15 year old child was so deeply disturbed that if it had not been a gun, it would have been a knife or a bomb.
