Thank you! And to you, as well!

@SomeMichGuy Thank you, but Thanksgiving is not celebrated in South Africa.

@Sutten I know "American Thanksgiving" is a little different, but I assumed that any plave which had an agricultural component likely had some celebration of the harvest. Any in the Southern Hemisphere would, of course, be more likely at, say, the early days of celestial Autumn there (after the equinox the third week in March, but possibly early April).
Was there a celebration like that by tribes or colonists?

Thankfully our ancestors abandoned socialism. We give thanks.

And remember, you don't have to buy into the colonizer BS propaganda to enjoy a day of thanks. Make it something positive.

@LordShadowfire We used to go around the table and express gratitude for things like good health and still being together.
Sutten · 36-40, F
@LordShadowfire Thanksgiving isn't celebrated in South Africa; positivity is always a win.
Sutten · 36-40, F
@bijouxbroussard I love that.
