@PatKirby I like to make several types of deviled eggs. The traditional kind, another one with green dill weed and a green olive on it, and others with a black olive on them. Probably could think of a few more ways to make them. The green olive-dill weed one is my favorite. I make an egg salad with those in it is probably why.

Cool, fancy! I use the tart stuff and pepper lightly with some chili powder.
Cooked some Mexican picadillo last nite. Ever heard of that?

@PatKirby I have heard of it but never made it. Seems like it would be tasty. I have a recipe for it in my Betty Crocker International Cookbook.

@PatKirby It’s too bad they don’t serve it in Mexican restaurants, at least some of them.

@PatKirby I think someone should open some Mexican restaurants that serve such dishes. Tacos, enchiladas, fajitas, burritos, nachos etc are all good but home-cooked style is really good, arroz con pollo etc.

Exactly. Tacos, nachos are basically TexMex. But they're good! The other home cooked stuff like carne asada/guisada, arroz con pollo, fidello, menudo...all that's Mexican cuisine. Love it! Think I might cook carne asada this All American ingredients, hahaweek end.
