I have faithfully honored this Thanksgiving tradition for years

Thursdays are the day when the trash and recycling get picked up in our neighborhood,

Last night , as on the eve of every Thanksgiving I can remember, I forgot to put them out on the curb. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Just call me a sentimental traditionalist, I guess!

@DrWatson Trash and recycling pick up is Thursday in my neighborhood too, but not when it is a federal holiday. I'm just a little surprised they pick up there, on Thanksgiving. 🙂

@Piper That is what I thought they would do when I first moved here, but nope. Thursday is Thursday, apparently.

Although when Christmas falls on a Thursday, they wait till Friday!~
