Why just turkey or ham? [I M Dreading Thanksgiving]

I've always dreaded thanksgiving because my family always serves ham- which I consider limited to a sandwich meat choice. This year we had turkey- and I don't like turkey. It's dry and tasteless compared to chicken.

I guess I'm not very thankful. To fix this problem I suggest a beef or pork roast next time. Thank you!
my family does ham and turkey but also italian and mexican foods, french bread, cheese cake which came from Greece, etc. hahah we mix it up and always have leftover turkey sandwiches.

We had Cornish hens for a change. They were very good.

@Harriet03 silver lining and all that. ;)

@LucyGray They are very much like chicken. I find them much more tender too.

Turkey needs to be cooked with something to give it moisture

I normally put a peeled apple or two inside it. Plus baste it hourly at least.

Try just the legs or thighs. Turkey breast is the dryist. Necks are also alright yet very boney.

This applies to all birds!
