Sunday morning will see us dressed for Mass at the Cathedral
It has long been a tradition in our family to go to Sunday Mass come what may. Even a few days after becoming a mother I was attending Sunday Mass with my baby and my parents. It is very important, and, yes, I would love to go to Mass every day I can it is better to ensure everything is set to go to Sunday Mass.
So, tomorrow my parents, my brother and his family, Chiara and I will go into Palermo to the Cathedral. It will be the first time Chiara and I have worn dresses since last Sunday! We must also wear lingerie, although I do prefer not to wear a bra. We will wear mantillas too, Chiara’s will be white and mine dark blue or black.
The light is amazing; the high clerestory windows and the white paint were wise moves to give such a wonderful lightness (feel) to a cathedral, which can be heavy via darkness.
The designer(s) / decorator(s) / patron(s) who created this wondrous were happy people, people who understood God as beneficent, and who knew Jesus as the One telling us that we were meant to have life ABUNDANTLY....
