If your kid told you another kid in Sunday school kept hitting him...?

Depend on where it was happening. I would just talk to the kid if I saw it as most among our church got no problem parenting each others kids or if I had not seen it, I would talk with he kids parents.

Tell my child to defend themselves when needed and speak with the other kids parents.If speaking does not help the next step is to tell the parents I'll do them what their child does to mine.

Talk to the kids Sunday school teacher about it

If you dont tell him to fight back..he will never learn and be dependant on others for protection. Teaching him that he can defend himself if someone hits him is a crucial lesson.

Thx everyone for the responses. I don't have a kid but this came up at a recent church I went to. Also at another church in a different province, which handled it very well IMO. I wanted to know how various people would respond to that situation.

I would talk to that kid and scare the bejeezus out of him.

The bible says let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

We are all sinners and it doesn't mention bats....

I'm not saying he should hit the child with the bat...I am simply saying he should touch him with the bat with force enough to hurt.

Ask why he hasn’t hit him back yet...
