Set your clocks up one hour before bed Saturday night peeps! I hate time change lol..

Every state can move to permanent standard time with out congressional action.

@SW-User I think some states want DST and others want standard time. How would that work if you live on the border of one state but you work in the other and the 2 states are on different times?

@twiigss DST doesn't actually make daylight hours longer, it simply shifts 1 hour of morning light to the evening and makes high noon, high 1 PM instead

@SW-User Yep. But imagine living in Oregon, but you work in Washington state, Oregon is on DST and Washington is on standard.

@twiigss Permanent DST was tried in the 1970's 79% initially liked it but then turned against it after dark winter mornings

@SW-User I think at this point it's up to the federal government hopefully they'll pass the sunshine act and we'll see what happens. I know I'm just sick of changing my clocks twice a year.
