Another Saturday morning at work over and done with.

As I arrive home the is a non resident car parked in my undercover car bay.
Hmmm, I wonder who this person is visiting?
I surmise unit 4 and knock on the door. Yes, I was correct, the visitor was visiting number 4. I asked him to move his car out of my car bay which he promptly does.

Whilst all this was going on, my nostrils were being assailed by a very offensive odour. Someone is cooking? fish and to me the smell is disgrusting 🤮
I often wonder how different cultures eat the stuff that they eat.
One only has to look at Asian wet markets to see the depths many cultures go all in the name of haute cuisine (not) 😄

@cherokeepatti Maybe that is what it was. It definitely was fishy, with other stuff. Very, very offensive odour.
2 hours later, no more smell.

I lived in university apartments for over a decade and the very worse thing I ever smelled was coming from a neighbor’s apartment. It was so bad the Japanese guy that lived next to the couple that was cooking left his apartment with his windows open to air out his apartment. There were flies all over his window screen. The smell was like a rotten body. So bad my friend wanted to know what it was and was talking about going to a motel to spend the night. We called maintenance and they pin-pointed it coming from an Asian couple’s apartment and talked to them. They had a rice cooker on the table with what looked like chicken to him but I believe it was pickled fish. I’ve heard that smells something terrible.
