My new normal

I'm sitting in the viewing gallery of the gym watching my 12 yo potential future foster daughter knock the living daylights out of a boy who is rather bigger than her 😊 I know nothing about judo, but I think she is doing quite well 😊

I prefer taekwondo, but anything that gives her the confidence to face down her adversaries and the skills to back it up is okay in my book...

@sarabee1995 She loves it. The childrens home where she lives loves it because the club combines tuition with discipline. If a student has been in trouble at school that may prevent them from taking part on Saturday. The session was really well run and the children were very respectful to each other.

But I am in trouble for trying to alter her jacket. I thought it was too big on her, but apparently it is meant to be like that 😅

@SunshineGirl Yup. My studio was like that too. And I had to bring in report cards every term.

Lol, and yes, the gi 🥋 is intended to be loose fitting. 🤣
