Is it rude for an adult to yell at an autistic kid when they’re doing something horrible? (Please read and answer)

My sister yelled at me for bitting her and she shouldn’t have done that because I’m autistic and “special needs”. She was wrong. Just hear me out. I was like 7 or 8. Warning long rant.

One time my dad took me to my sister and brother-in-law’s old apartment (where they used to live before my nephew was born) so they can watch me so dad can do errands. I was on punishment. My dad looked me in the eye seriously and told me just because I’m at their house doesn’t mean I am off punishment and I still need to listen to them and they’re the adults. My dad told my sister and brother-in-law that I was not allowed to have fun things I have any sweets because I was punished for what I did at school. My brother in law had to work that Saturday so it was just my sister and I. My sister was disappointed because she wanted to take me to a movie but after what she heard, she didn’t take me and gave the movie tickets to her neighbor and her grandson. I screamed to get her to get the tickets back and she firmly said no. I started to hit her hard and grab her hair but she stopped me held my arms and scolded, “NO!! You will not do that to me! You don’t always get what you want!”
Then I tried to but her but she got all spicy and said, “Don’t you dare try to bite me! No!” I’m autistic and she shouldn’t have yelled at me. She snitched on dad and I bit her hard. She was furious and scolded at me for my ugly behavior and when dad picked me up, he was furious! My sister did not want me back at her place for a while until I learn how to behave right. Can’t believe my own big sister would do that to me. I did apologize to her. My dad made me. She had to go to urgent care. I was only 7-8, but already taller than my sister.

Ok so you was only 7 at the time so I do give you that and you’re an adult now so it’s irrelevant anyone even being mad at you for something you did as an child , you did wrong though by biting her , regardless of what age you did it , she SHOULDN'T have bitten you back because one there’s an huge age difference and two because two wrongs don’t make an right and three because it’s not teaching you anything and most of the time it has an negative effect and encourages your behaviour. But she had every right to tell you off , autism or not , if you did wrong you need to understand that your behaviour was wrong so she had the right to tell you off.

@SW-User My sister actually almost but but I screamed at her to stop. I don’t understand why people are so brutally blunt to autistic people. I’m the punching bag of the family.

Just because you are autistic does NOT mean you get to abuse others and its ok. You have special needs and i understand best i can BUT you were totally in the wrong in that situation even tho you were young. She should have bit you back just as hard. Sorry but i am on the side of sis here.... i dont want you coming back until you are able to behave better and you owe me an apology... Its been many years since that happen and i hope you and your sis are now friends.

@black4white Well, we get along now. My sister didn’t allow me to come back to her apartment (at the time) until I behaved and respected her. She ended up biting me back to teach me a lesson. That was cruel. Then she said, “Well you bit me. You gotta taste of you own before. Stop biting! You know better! You better start showing respect.”
OK she didn’t really bright me but she was attempting to just teach me a lesson but she didn’t really bite me.

you are always in the right to hit someone that bites you... everything else is irrelevant

@EvilEmily Em, OP began hitting her sister and grabbing her hair because she wouldn't give her the tickets.
Sister told dad, and OP bit her. Never was she phgysically threatened.

@EvilEmily She didn’t hit me back. I bit her and she yelled at me to stop. She sent me to the guest room and when my dad came she told him I wasn’t allowed to come over until I behaved.

@SevenTierCrazyCake Wow that’s cruel. My sister bit me back to get back at me. My dad, brother and some people said I got what I deserved and they didn’t feel sorry for me.
@LaylaTheTallGirl you did get what you deserved. You're not special.

@CraftyMarieArts I mean I don’t hurt her anymore. My sister didn’t allow me to come back to her apartment (at the time) until I behaved and respected her. She ended up biting me back to teach me a lesson. That was cruel. Then she said, “Well you bit me. You gotta taste of you own before. Stop biting! You know better! You better start showing respect.”
That was cruel she bit her own autistic sister and people tell me I got what I deserved. As an autistic person, are you shocked about this.

@LaylaTheTallGirl You're probably not even real, you're probably just a 40 year old man in a broken family making up stories of a victimhood type of life with a thing for child pornography so you can justify the big feelings you have towards your ex wife who left you after you raped your autistic daughter. God knows you fucking write like a pedophile!
