Body has its own mind... when our body feels that it's going to starve, then it starts to resist losing weight and it keeps the fat so that it can feed from it... in times like that, body needs a food shock, not much eating, but eating more than what you usually do and only for once....

@Soossie you’re absolutely right, this is one of the main rules I’ve learned, I know people that only do 1 meal a day & day how they don’t lose weight & I try to explain to them this very rule but in their minds it makes zero sense ... *sigh* lol
Right now I’m doing 3 very healthy meals & never go hungry, I have 7 more weeks before I begin weight training, I’ll than do 6 small meals high on protein/ veggies/ carbs from whole foods nothing processed, I can’t wait
