Times have changed since I went to parties …

My 26 yr old daughter is having a small party (15) and they are all talking politics and global issues.

(I’m laughing to myself because I never imagined a party like this. She’s so much more mature than I ever was)

My boyfriend in college and a good half of my friends were political science majors. My college house next door neighbor was one of those professors that had occasional dinner parties for students. He was one of the Poli-Sci profs, so I recall many a party like you're describing. 😆

I hope the kids are having a great party.
