Gamer in need of help

I just bought a new xbox one and I can't get past the initial setup because I don't have an internet connection. Most annoying. Any suggestions? And yes I've called xbox and they were closed. I guess I'll have to wait until Monday to talk to someone and hopefully resolve the problem. I've never had such difficulty with a game console before.
