Asking for more sorrow

As an Englishman I am not accustomed to the "right to carry guns", though "carrying guns" is slowly growing in the UK. But to defend the right to carry arms is only promoting the right to murder isn't it?
Its is getting like the chicken and the egg, where someone has to accept responsibility for the acts of their fellow countrymen, men who kill for no reason.
It remind me of the song by the "Boomtown Rats" … "I don't like Mondays" was given as the only reason for a killings many years ago.

It seems there are strong arguments for and against, but I am happy to be in the UK where I feel safer.

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort to protect themselves against tyranny in the government.

@curiosi Now that is another point of view, but is it reasonable?

@Uncfred We spent 8 long years under Obama who clearly tried to create chaos in order to declare martial law. We got lucky this time we may not be so lucky next time.
