Asking for more sorrow

As an Englishman I am not accustomed to the "right to carry guns", though "carrying guns" is slowly growing in the UK. But to defend the right to carry arms is only promoting the right to murder isn't it?
Its is getting like the chicken and the egg, where someone has to accept responsibility for the acts of their fellow countrymen, men who kill for no reason.
It remind me of the song by the "Boomtown Rats" … "I don't like Mondays" was given as the only reason for a killings many years ago.

It seems there are strong arguments for and against, but I am happy to be in the UK where I feel safer.

It's promoting the right to be NOT murdered. It's much more a mental health issue than a gun issue. If these crazy's weren't using guns, they would use something else. Cars, trucks, bombs or anything else they could think of.

@nudistsueaz you are 100% right

@nudistsueaz I understand you, but to take the gun out of the equation surely reduces the possibility.
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
@Uncfred It reduces your chance of being shot but not murdered.

@Uncfred Chicago is gun free just like DC,
Uncfred · 61-69, M
@MarineBob That is nice to know, but will that trend grow?
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
@MarineBob Yeah and check how many shootings there there.
Uncfred · 61-69, M
@nudistsueaz So the seed is already planted.

@Uncfred Maybe, that's an unknown right now. I hope it doesn't.
