Asking for more sorrow

As an Englishman I am not accustomed to the "right to carry guns", though "carrying guns" is slowly growing in the UK. But to defend the right to carry arms is only promoting the right to murder isn't it?
Its is getting like the chicken and the egg, where someone has to accept responsibility for the acts of their fellow countrymen, men who kill for no reason.
It remind me of the song by the "Boomtown Rats" … "I don't like Mondays" was given as the only reason for a killings many years ago.

It seems there are strong arguments for and against, but I am happy to be in the UK where I feel safer.

Guns do not promote murder, teaching the lack of respect and responsibility promotes murder...
HatsOnFrogs · 22-25, M
@Quimliqer guns enable murder though
Uncfred · 61-69, M
@Quimliqer OK, another viewpoint, but if the guns are not there in the first place!!

@HatsOnFrogs so do knives
HatsOnFrogs · 22-25, M
@SW-User be honest with me, which is more likely to kill you: a crazed knife man or a crazed gun man?
SW-User
@HatsOnFrogs honestly....both
Uncfred · 61-69, M
@HatsOnFrogs Both would have the intent, but the gun kills from a distance.

@Uncfred so do home made bombs. All you need is a pre-payed cell phone.
HatsOnFrogs · 22-25, M
@SW-User are you serious? How many mass murders via stabbing have you seen in your life, in comparison to the uncountable number of mass shootings?
HatsOnFrogs · 22-25, M
@SW-User you can run away from a knife. You can't run away from a gun
