Asking for more sorrow

As an Englishman I am not accustomed to the "right to carry guns", though "carrying guns" is slowly growing in the UK. But to defend the right to carry arms is only promoting the right to murder isn't it?
Its is getting like the chicken and the egg, where someone has to accept responsibility for the acts of their fellow countrymen, men who kill for no reason.
It remind me of the song by the "Boomtown Rats" … "I don't like Mondays" was given as the only reason for a killings many years ago.

It seems there are strong arguments for and against, but I am happy to be in the UK where I feel safer.

It's not promoting the right to murder....it's defending your right to defend yourself against evil.

@SW-User That depends on you viewpoint, how many of the unnecessary dead would agree with you?
SW-User
@Uncfred how many would not be dead had someone been armed to prevent the deaths of many others?

@SW-User Someone was armed, all your police carry guns.
SW-User
@Uncfred yeah but most of the time that a shooting occurs the police are not present until they are dispatched to that location. If others were armed they could stop the bad guy from killing so many innocents.
