This time of year always remind me of when I was a boy dancing around May poles and country dancing on the village green.

My dance partner was the prettiest girl in the village and the 1988 May queen. A pity I had to move away to boring new school and area where nothing was celebrated all summer.

@Queendragonfly A 15-20 foot pole with a garland at the top and ribbons of every colour which we tied to our waists while we danced.
