@SinlessOnslaught that's what i always tell people, no need to wait for tomorrow to start improving moving forward.

@Ferric67 Yep

Very pretty.. I didn’t make any resolutions.
I don't make resolutions... however, I am constantly changing and shifting every day.
Tachyeon · 26-30, F
@HootyTheNightOwl Making a list of resolutions alone can lead to a a false sense of achievement too. Acting on it along the way is a good way to go.
@Tachyeon It's not just false sense of achievement that can be a problem - unrealistic goals are another thing that can put people off even trying to achieve goals.
If I set out to lose 3 stones this year and I only managed to lose 1.5, does this mean that I failed... technically yes... but I still succeeded in losing half the target weight - which still makes a success out of the failure.

True, there is definitely a middle ground in between deciding to make resolutions and just winging it. Personally i need a goal vague enough to satisfy myself with whatever happens as long as the results are positive.

BS! I was AWESOME last year and expect the same, for this one. Yeah, I'm just trying to hang onto my very modest self!!! 😊🌷

I don't make resolutions on New Year's. I keep track of where I'm at and where I want to be far more regularly, at least weekly.
Barefooter25 · 46-50, M
You look absolutely beautiful and gorgeous. I never make New Years resolutions. Within the first few weeks of January, most resolutions are already broken.
southerngent · M
Stopped doing resolutions a few years ago. Mostly try to pick up new habits. Ehh… it’s a work in progress.
Tachyeon · 26-30, F
@southerngent Slow and steady but still progressing, nothing wrong with that.
Adogslife · 61-69, M
Nope, I’m about 470 days in.
Diet and exercise. My body looks half the age it did.

Changing is necessary, but waiting for the new year to do so is bullshit. It's a very gradual process.
Tachyeon · 26-30, F
@NerdyPotato Right, I do believe it's good enough that the start of a new year reminds people about changing, but holding it until a certain date is just procrastinating and almost defeats the purpose lol.

No resolutions. Tweeking as I go, and trying not to screw up.

I am still keeping mine with voluntary help for our budding community.
