Fair royalty
Just returned from voting for our summer Fair Queen and her retinue 🙂 The Fair will take place in the last week of July.
The Fair Queen (local girl aged 14-18) and her two primary attendants (girls 9-14) and flower bearer (girl 5-8) are keenly contested positions. The Herald (boy up to age 12) less so. The sole candidate (who will be elected unopposed) had a face like thunder and had clearly been very naughty to warrant such a terrible punishment! 🤣
