Halloween this year felt different

We went on trick or treating and there were only few houses participating or decorating their houses most only had a pumpkin outside, and only few kids were outside and none were wearing customs, it was my son first time going trick or treating and it was very disappointing, most of the houses run out of candy or were giving shitty candy, and we went around six pm, we went to the corner shop too and they immediately removed all the decorations said it was broken!! I don't know but it felt very boring this year. There wasn't even any good movie on netflix.
