Remembering Halloween.

I was at the top of the stairs. You were at the bottom with Sam. Both of you were staring at me. And Sam nudged you and said “she’s so beautiful,” and you said “I know” with a smile. You both watch me come down the steps thinking I couldn’t hear you. Lol 🤭 I smiled the whole way down and when I reached eye level with you I said “What’s up?” Lol and you guys were basically like oh 😯 uh 😄 just hanging out 🍻 lol— “ I had to find the restroom real quick, but I’m back!” I said 🍻 I look at you and you hold out your hand. I take it as i finish stepping down the stairs in my sparkley wedges. I was a shark and you were a hipster Santa. Sam was— 🤔💭 I don’t remember what Sam was. lol, but I do remember seeing him later w a couple lipstick kisses on the side of his face, ooo- la la. Lol ✨ it was a wonderful party. We went home together. I thought you were so amazing. 👁👁 Being in bed, looking at you… I was secretly nervous about the whole thing… but I kept reminding myself to lean into the moment….Many moments have passed since then 🏃‍♀🕣💨… I think about how in love I was. How I wish I could feel that again….How I wish I was more brave…I miss that perfect electric feeling of being in love. 🌬🍁🍂
