You also have my blessing to dismiss anyone who tries to tell you off for your "offensive" costume. In which case, screw it, make it even more offensive! Paint your face tan and start dancing around while wooping! Those costumes never offended me personally. I don't even know any other Native Americans who find them offensive. It's just a costume, for one day that's all about wearing costumes! Who cares? No one did until political correctness and being offended on everyone else's behalf became cool. So yeah, if you want to dress in a stereotypical Native American get up for Halloween, knock yourself out. We don't care.
