given the current concern regarding gender, my interest goes to hermaphroditism, seen in the exhibit Metamorphosis that i saw on my recent cruise:
The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam is hosting the landmark Metamorphoses exhibition from February 6 to May 25, 2026, exploring Ovid's tales of transformation through over 80 artworks. Featuring masterpieces from Caravaggio, Bernini, and Rodin, the exhibit highlights themes of desire, change, and mythology, with a later display at Rome's Galleria Borghese.
@Harmonium1923 I have a shot of the ceiling (don’t ask how I was able to photograph that - not allowed by the guards). And that part showing a male form is really distinct in that whole collage.
@ChampagneOnIce So many to choose from, but I love this image of Dirk Bogarde spanking Barbara Murray in “Doctor at Large” (1957). The expression on her face!
I wanted to find a similar classic movie still of a woman spanking a man but no luck so far.
